about
From humble beginnings as a singer-songwriter, Gabriella has recently decided to step out and share her creations with the world. Her music is an intelligent mix of Mediterranean and British influences, rooting soul, jazz and blues features.
Gabriella grew up in the UK and moved to Israel at a young age. Whilst overcoming the challenges of language that moving countries presents, music was always her way of fitting in.
Stranger to you was written about her beloved grandfather, love through distance (socially, physically and emotionally) how love is borderless and endless.
lyrics
Stranger to you
Verse 1:
My heart unfolds when I’m sitting down close to you.
I can feel your soul touching mine
And every time it always grows
Bridge:
No more no more close
But you know I’m still close to you
No more no more touch
But you know we will see this through
Chores:
The world can grow cold
But Ill always, hold you close to me like were supposed to be.
When everything has changed and nothing feels the same.
Ill never ever ever ever be
A stranger to you
A stranger to you
Verse 2:
A time ago
We had it all, we couldn’t see it now we know
Bridge:
No more no more close
But you know im still close to you
No more no more touch
But you know we will see this through
